OK, so I am posting another blog. Even after I warned that the first may be my last, buuuuuutttttt noooooooooo the readers just couldn't handle that! They said they needed more. Actually I think it was more like hooray we get to see pictures, who cares about the words. Just give me visuals. I can add my own commentary and often I do to much consternation of those around me. I'll pause there while those that need to go look up that last big word ...... tick-tock, tick-tock, Jeopardy music playing in the background.... alright contestants your time is up the final answer is, YUP Bubba is loony! I'm sorry you all got that wrong, it means I win again. One nice thing about a blog is that you can go any direction you want with your writing. So let's see an update Soccer is done for the most part. I will be relinquishing my Presidency of the Soccer club this year, I just do have the time for it anymore.... between coaching Soccer, both Boys, playing baseball when there is no soccer game at the same time and running the club. Actually, I am moving up in the BOD world, I am running for the Presidency of the Athletic Association, which oversees all the community Rec sports programs. Why am I doing this, you ask? Hell if I knew I'd tell you or wait maybe I am saving that for another blog........ How long can I string that one out???
Let's see Soccer for the boys went fairly well, Jaxon's U9 team did their usual undefeated season in league. This is an amazing fact because 2/3's of the team are actually only 7 years old and they are beating 8 and 9 year olds. In all of the ten games they played they gave up 5 goals against, while scoring in double digits in most games, but of course scores are not kept at this age it is all for fun!!!! :-) This group of boys if they continue to play together are going to be absolutely phenomenal when they get to High School. Speaking of High School, the Freshman's team (Jake) did ok in the P-3 League, we ended in 4th place which is not good enough to keep us in the league so we have to go back and go thru the placement tourney all over again next year..... A ROYAL PAIN in the ARSENAL. Jake's individual play however has come a long way, the kid has the makings of a standout but really needs to get his head together. A few friends have mentioned that if Jake can not let the other team get to him he will be a standout. he can take a few hits before he starts getting mad, when he gets mad he tends to retaliate. Of course any of those who played soccer knows that it is the retaliation that gets the cards. I will say that he has done much better this year in taking just 2 Yellow cards all season, the last one came in the next to last game. Jake was playing Striker and one of the midfield/defender tripped him from behind about 4 times, while another defender was chirping in his ear about whining for a call. That was all it took, the player that tripped him the last time got a card and the little birdy kid got Jakes wrath. Jake basically let him have the ball, then when the kid turned to go around him, Jake dropped him from behind by tripping him and gave him an extra nudge to make sure he tasted the rubber from the turf. After the player was getting up Jake leaned over him and how did that taste and who's whining now??? Needless to say the kid went no where near Jake after that! Jake is dying to play for the High School and has been attending open training and foot skills with the High School coaching staff. He really has a good chance to make the JV team and a slight chance for a Varsity spot, however his grades may hold him back for any spot. Just not sure how to impart on him that his grades really matter right now. I am taking suggestions here.

Ok, so I lied you won't remember this blog tomorrow or the next day or even the one after that! I figured that if my new17 month old neice had a blog then her bald uncle had better get off his duff and have one too! I can't even guarantee that I will add another blog after this one, so there. And as for the name I know some of you are jumping for joy saying OOOOHHH an actual Lumberman's log, alas you are mistaken this logger is just logging his blog or is that bloggin his log, oh never mind, I am getting off track here or is it there??? I am a lumberman but not one that carries an axe or chainsaw, my preferred tools of choice a 34" piece of aluminium and piece of leather which I need to learn how to use occasionally. And getting back to the name NW -Northwest where I live. Logger - well I am logging this blog aren't I? Blog - this has to be short for Bubba's Log!!!! I can't think of anything better and no I am not asking for help or seeking inputs, cause once this gets posted I will have an unprecedented number of resposnses from uncles, aunts, sisters, parents and any number of people I deem as friends.
